ESG for Business Excellence

This 3 days specialized management development programme, aims to provide a holistic outlook and understanding of external influences and processes for measurement and implementation for ESG frameworks, Sustainability reporting, Circular Economy, Carbon Footprinting, and LCA for Business Excellence.

Pedagogy: Teaching, case discussions, and activity-based learning will form the pedagogical approach within this programme.

The objectives of the programme would be

  • To sensitize the participants to the importance of Sustainability and exposure to ESG frameworks
  • To develop the skill sets relating to ESG frameworks, Carbon Footprint measurement, LCA, and Circular economy.

  • Module 2: Measurement and implementation
    • Implementation of ESG Frameworks - BRSR and GRI
    • Sustainability reports: Key inferences
    • Carbon footprinting and carbon measurements - SCOPE 1, SCOPE 2, SCOPE 3 for Business
    • Life cycle Assessment with examples - tools and databases
    • Industry Materiality Assessment for ESG Performance
  • Module 3: Best Practices, Sustainability strategies, and implementation
    • Best Sustainable Practices in Industry
    • Awareness about global Best sustainability initiatives
    • Financial reporting and (TCFD) Requirements
    • Sustainability strategies, and implementation
    • Sustainability Strategies - Challenges and solutions for sustainability initiatives for the future

As this is a Multi-disciplinary Programme, any executive working in Government, Industry, or Service organizations is eligible.

  2. Refund policy

    Fees once paid can be adjusted for 1 financial year against future nominations only. In case a course is canceled on account of inadequate participation or any other unforeseeable reasons, the participants will be informed of the cancellation by e-mail or Fax and the fee will be refunded. IIM Mumbai will not be liable for any other expenses incurred by the company or the participant. Any transaction fee will not be refunded.
