Candidates must be Indian nationals.
Candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 / Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution in India.
The candidate must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject at the 10+2 level.
Minimum Marks Requirement:
- General / EWS / NC-OBC categories: Minimum 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent. Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 10+2 level to be considered for final merit listing.
- SC / ST / PwD categories: Minimum 55% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent. In addition, a minimum of 55% marks in Mathematics at the 10+2 level are required to be considered for the final merit listing.
The percentage of marks obtained will be calculated based on the board’s rules. In case of CGPA, the equivalence certified by the board/institution will be considered. If no conversion is available, IIM Mumbai will convert CGPA into percentage using the formula: Percentage = CGPA × 9.5.
Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2006 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 2001).
A candidate appearing for the class 10+2 examination is required to submit the 10+2 marksheets by June 30, 2026, in the IIM Mumbai admission portal
